A total of 317 Evening Vocational Course (EVC) students graduated on March 30, 2015.
The graduates came from the Apparel, Drafting and Architecture, Automotive Mechanics, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Heating Ventilating Airconditioning- Refrigeration Technology (HVAC-RT), Industrial Electricity, PC Hardware Servicing, Machine Shop, Welding and Fabrication Departments.
This year's commencement speaker was Dr. Elena Gonzaga, an alumna of the college and is presently an Education Program Supervisor II of the Department of Education (DepEd). She stressed out that the event was just a begining of more challenging situations.
According to Dr. Gonzaga, tasks will be more complicated but students should appreciate unpleasant experiences.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams," said Dr. Gonzaga.
She also emphasized the importance of education and how it breaks the cycle of poverty.
Forty-nine shop awaredees were honored during the commencement rites.
The EVC classes of the college started in 2013 under the Department of Industrial Technology.
