Christine Joy Vigil of Grade 7- Sampaguita is Miss Teen Earth 2013 in this year’s highlight of the Science Month Celebration.
Vigil also bagged 4 minor awards namely Best in Production Number, Best in Playsuit, Best in Talent and Best in Gown. In addition she was also chosen as Miss Photogenic.
Other major titles are Miss Teen Air which was won by Maria Ellysa Diana Libo-on of IV -Gold, Miss Teen Water is Ericka Alimonaje of Grade 7- Ilang-ilang and Miss Teen Fire is Yna Ruth Ysabelle Jegonia of III-Falcon.
Other Minor Awards are Best in Cocktail Wear which was won by Maria Ellysa Diana libo-on of IV-Gold and Best in Interview victoriously wo by Yna Ruth Ysabelle Jegonia. Meanwhile for the Special Awards, Miss Congeniality award and the People’s Choice Award went to Maria Ellysa Diana Libo-on.
Miss Teen Earth Pageant is an annual competition that highlights the Science Month Celebration pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 28, declaring that September is the National Science Month. This year’s theme is “Science and Technology Innovation: The road to a smarter Philippines.”
