Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) once again proved its dedication to quality service and academic excellence as it successfully passed the Recertification Audit of NQA Philippines, Inc. conducted on November 11-12, 2024 across all campuses. Dr. Ranilo L. Bernardino, Lead Auditor and CEO/General Manager of NQA Philippines, Inc., together with Ms. Maritess B. Bernardino, Auditor of NQA, audited all four campuses starting with the Iloilo City Campus in the morning of November 11. After which, the auditors visited the other campuses, Barotac Nuevo Campus, Dumangas, Miagao and Leon.
The audit covered various aspects including top management/QMR, the context of the organization, leadership and commitment, performance evaluation, customer satisfaction review, management review, documents and records control among others, and sampling of various areas in all campuses of the ISAT U System.
The scope of this recertification includes the provision of Tertiary Education Services, including the Higher Education Program, Advanced Education Program, Research Program, and Technical Advisory Extension Program.
It was a tough experience especially on the part of the auditees but with the concerted effort of everyone, at the end of the audit, NQA Philippines, Inc., recommended ISAT U for recertification of BS EN ISO 9001:2015. The University passed with remarkable results and is now more ready to serve its clientele.
