To break the monopoly of work, a seminar and team building was attended by the WVCST employees at Vista Veranda in Antique last April 11 and 12, 2014.
The activity which was entitled “Strategic Planning Cum Team Building” started on the first day, April 11 and was well attended by the employees as well as some key officials like Dr. Luis M. Sorolla Jr., VP for Research and Extension. and Dr. Nehema K. Misola, VP for Admin and Finance who gave the lecture on Strategic Planning.
Bonfire, cocktails and socials as well as games were held in the evening that was enjoyed by everybody.
On the next day, April 12, the group had their Hataw-Galaw sa Tag-Araw, a wellness activity which they did on the beach front led by Mr. Joel Talite.
The elected officers of the Western Visayas College of Science and Technology Employees Association were also inducted to office as part of the activity on that day.
